Cypriot documentary filmmaker wins Emmy Award
Cypriot journalist and filmmaker Kyri Evangelou wins a News & Documentary Emmy Award as producer and editor of the three-part Guardian series Along the Green Line. The documentary follows communities along the 1949 ceasefire line between Israel and the Palestinian territories and receives the award for outstanding continuing coverage.
