Cyprus recorded one of the strongest quarterly growth rates in the EU in the second quarter of 2026, with GDP growth of 0.8 percent according to Eurostat data. The economy accelerated compared to the first quarter (0.5 percent growth) and was 3.3 percent above the prior year value. This solid growth is driven by positive employment trends and increased economic activity.
