Cypriot employment rises by 1.7 percent in second quarter
Total employment in Cyprus increased by 1.7 percent in the second quarter of 2026 compared to the previous year, reaching an estimated 525,167 persons. Of these, 472,254 were employees and 52,913 were self-employed. The positive development indicates a stable labor market.
