Cypriot EU Legislator Calls for Bank Protection for Homeowners
Cypriot EU parliamentarian Michalis Hadjipantela is calling on Cyprus's banking association to strengthen protection of primary residences for vulnerable borrowers who have already repaid a significant portion of their mortgage. The letter was also sent to the European Central Bank and the Central Bank of Cyprus.
