Cypriot Families Fall into Debt Due to Inadequate Foreign Aid
Hundreds of families accompanying relatives abroad for medical treatment are forced to abandon their jobs, take out loans, and bear thousands of euros in expenses while waiting for government financial support. The Cypriot Patients Association (CyFPA) denounces that the support system is not functioning and many families are falling into economic difficulties. The Health Ministry is currently reviewing the system.
