Cypriot Films Win International Awards at Film Festivals
Cypriot film productions are achieving increasing success on the international stage. Director Tonia Misialis's film 'The Lion at My Back' won the Ecumenical Jury Prize at the 60th Karlovy Vary International Film Festival, and several other Cypriot productions were awarded at European and Asian festivals.
