Cypriot FM pushes for ceasefire and de-escalation in Middle East conflict
Foreign Minister Constantinos Kombos spoke by telephone with his Israeli counterpart Gideon Saar and called for full implementation of the US-Iran ceasefire as well as restraint, particularly in light of fighting in Lebanon. In separate talks with his Lebanese counterpart Youssef Raghi, Kombos emphasized support for Lebanon's sovereignty and called for immediate de-escalation by all parties to protect civilians.
