Cypriot Heart Saves Israeli Life After Car Accident
A Cypriot citizen donated her heart following a fatal car accident to a 45-year-old woman in Israel who had waited nearly two years for a transplant. The successful operation was completed on Friday at the Rabin Medical Centre in Tel Aviv and required the collaboration of medical teams from Cyprus, Greece, and Israel.
