Cypriot Households Hold Over Half in Cash and Deposits
According to the Central Bank of Cyprus, financial assets of Cypriot households reached approximately 65.1 billion euros at the end of December 2025, while household debt stood at 19.8 billion euros, corresponding to 54 percent of gross domestic product. For businesses, non-financial assets totaled 78.4 billion euros with debt of 39.2 billion euros.
