Cypriot Investigations Lead to Illegal Pharmaceutical Lab in Greece
Cypriot authorities provided information that led to the discovery of an illegal pharmaceutical laboratory in the basement of an Athens pharmacy in June of this year, connected to the case of Greek singer Giorgos Mazonakis. Investigation of the clinic where Mazonakis collapsed revealed serious deficiencies: no electrocardiography was performed, and the equipment for plasmapheresis treatment had significant problems. Documents from the pharmacy allegedly contained the name of a treating physician.
