Cypriot Katina Chrysostomou Celebrates 100th Birthday
Katina Chrysostomou, born in Rizokarpaso, celebrated her 100th birthday on April 29th with a garden party at her care home in Finchley (London). The Cypriot had emigrated to the United Kingdom in 1947 and had taught herself English by listening to the radio and reading.
