Cypriot Mother and Daughter Part of Kidney Transplant Chain in Israel
16-year-old Foteini and her mother were part of an eight-person kidney donation chain in Israel, in which four people of different nationalities and religions donated a kidney to four needy patients. The family's story has moved many people and demonstrates human solidarity across borders.
