Cypriot Mothers: Breastfeeding Rates Fall Below WHO Guidelines
Cypriot mothers breastfeed their newborns immediately after birth, but the rate falls rapidly in the first months and soon falls below World Health Organization recommendations. The Ministry of Health has developed a new national breastfeeding policy for 2026-2030 to improve this trend.
