Cypriot Parliament rejects rejection of fixed-term contract law
The Cypriot Parliament rejected 29 to 12 the rejection of a law ending unlimited teacher contracts in case of staff reductions. The President had rejected the law citing constitutional concerns. The debate addressed questions of fairness and equal treatment of employees.
