Cypriot Sábbas Papaságias Becomes President of EU Court
Cypriot Sábbas Papaságias was elected as the new President of the Court of Justice of the European Union following Marc van der Woude's early resignation. Papaságias was elected by his colleagues for the remainder of the term from September 16, 2026 to August 31, 2028. This appointment represents significant international recognition for Cyprus.
