Cypriot Shell Companies Implicated in Russian Espionage Scandal
Three companies registered in Nicosia with common ownership are connected to a scandal in Slovakia in which a government contract for 279 speed cameras is suspected of being a Russian espionage operation. Opposition, media and international outlets report that the cameras were potentially to be used for surveillance of Slovak territory.
