Cypriot Ship Attacked in Hormuz Waters – US Responds with Air Strikes
A Cyprus-registered cargo ship was attacked by Iranian forces in the Persian Gulf according to US Central Command. The ship caught fire after being hit approximately 9 nautical miles east of Oman. The US responded with a third wave of air strikes against targets in Iran, following Iranian missiles fired at American military bases.
