Cypriot Tax Allowance Increased Ninefold in 35 Years
The tax allowance in Cyprus has grown over the last 35 years from 2,000 Cypriot pounds (3,417 euros) in 1991 to 22,000 euros in 2026. The increase reflects nine separate adjustments to income tax rates to account for economic changes and currency conversion.
