Cypriot tourism recovers but with decline in air traffic
The decline in Cypriot tourism is expected to continue easing until the end of 2026, with arrival forecasts approximately 5 percent below the previous year. Between January and August, 2.82 million tourists arrived, 7 percent fewer than the previous year. In parallel, Cyprus recorded the second-largest decline in air traffic in the EU during August, with 3 percent fewer commercial flights.
