Cypriot Unemployment Rate Falls to Historic Low
Cyprus's unemployment rate fell to 3.6% in the second quarter of 2026, the lowest figure since 2008, compared to 4.3% in the previous year. Employment grew by 2.9%, with the working-age population reaching 540,130 persons. In parallel, fuel sales show a sign of economic revival with 1.3% growth in July.
