Cyprus's unemployment rate increased to 4.1 percent in August 2026, according to Eurostat data. The upward trend continues after the rate stood at 3.8 percent in May and has risen steadily since then. By contrast, unemployment rates in the EU and eurozone as a whole remained stable.
