Cypriot youth lag behind EU average in online activism
According to Eurostat data from 2025, only 22.2 percent of Cypriot youth aged 16 to 29 actively participate in digital political and social activities, which is slightly below the EU average. This means that slightly more than one in five young Cypriots participate in online civic engagement, such as expressing political opinions.
