Cypriots Work Longer - 40 Years in Professional Life
Cyprus is among EU countries with the longest expected working life. According to the latest Eurostat data, the average duration of working life in 2025 was 39.5 years, exceeding the EU average by two years. This underscores the relatively high participation of Cypriot employees in the labor market.
