Cyprus: 56% of Buildings Over 25 Years Old and Neglected
More than half of the buildings in Cyprus are older than 25 years and show considerable signs of wear. Thousands of residential complexes are poorly maintained, as maintenance remains solely the responsibility of owners, without state controls or consequences. The Building Association has been warning of this dangerous situation for ten years.
