Cyprus: 600-700 Prostate Cancer Cases Registered Annually
According to the chair of the Cyprus Oncology Society, between 600 and 700 new prostate cancer cases are diagnosed annually in Cyprus, with prostate cancer remaining the most common cancer type among men worldwide. Global forecasts indicate that case numbers will rise to an estimated 2.9 million per year by 2040. The society warns of the growing health problem.
