Cyprus accelerates mobile desalination plants by 2027
Cyprus is relying on mobile desalination plants as an emergency measure to address the ongoing drought and alarmingly low water inflows to dams. The government has approved plans to build nine mobile desalination plants to be completed by 2027, while permanent infrastructure is still in the planning phase.
