Cyprus achieves UN goals in HIV prevention
Cyprus is among the pioneering countries that have met UN goals for HIV prevention, with a treatment rate of approximately 98 percent. The Aids Solidarity Movement attributed this success to close cooperation between civil society, patient groups, clinicians, and policymakers.
