Cyprus advances tax revenue: 730 million euros collected
The Cypriot government has successfully collected 730 million euros in outstanding taxes and social security contributions. Although arrangements for the payment of outstanding debts should normally not become standard, these had to be introduced in light of the crisis in the Middle East. The government emphasizes that debtors must not exploit such measures.
