Cyprus air traffic declines while Europe grows
Air passengers at Cypriot airports decreased by 1.5 percent in August 2026 compared to the previous year, while the European airport network recorded an increase of 3.1 percent. According to ACI Europe, Cyprus is among the markets with weaker performance despite overall increased demand for air traffic.
