Cyprus and 9 Other EU States Reject CO2 Tax on Fuels
Ten EU countries, including Cyprus, Italy, and Poland, are calling on the EU Commission to reconsider its planned CO2 tax on fuels as part of the revision of the EU Emissions Trading System. The resistance of these countries could jeopardize plans to update EU climate policy.
