Cyprus and Greece particularly affected by Middle East conflict
Rating agency Morningstar DBRS warns that Cyprus and Greece are the most exposed EU countries to the economic impacts of the Middle East conflict. The tourism and shipping sectors are particularly suffering from rising operating costs due to the escalating crisis. Both countries show structural vulnerabilities that make them more susceptible to regional tensions.
