Cyprus and India to Launch Solar-Powered Ships in 2027
Cyprus will introduce its first solar-powered electric passenger ships starting in April 2027, following a cooperation agreement signed by the Marine and Shipping Institute with Indian shipbuilder Navalt. The memorandum of understanding was signed in Larnaca and establishes a strategic partnership for the development of sustainable maritime technologies.
