Cyprus and Lebanon apply to World Bank for electricity line financing
Cyprus and Lebanon are planning concrete steps to realize their planned cross-border electricity connection and will today submit an official request to the World Bank for financing of a corresponding electrical transmission line project. This is progress toward their joint energy connection project, which was initiated at the end of 2025.
