Cyprus as mediator between Lebanon and EU
Nicosia has secured a leading role in relations between regional countries and the European Union. From President Christodoulidis' letter in July 2025 to the presence of the Lebanese Prime Minister at the conference in Nicosia, Cyprus has brought Lebanon into the European agenda and established itself as an important mediator.
