Cyprus as Operating Base for British Air Force
Britain plans to use Cyprus as an operating base for the British Royal Air Force to provide military support for Saudi Arabia's campaign against the Houthi movement in Yemen. Saudi Arabia had requested British assistance after the Houthis expanded their control over Yemen's west coast.
