Cyprus at Lower End of EU Spending for People with Disabilities
Cyprus ranks at the bottom among EU countries in social protection spending and allocates only 3.3 percent, far below the EU average of 7.1 percent. According to the Organization of Paraplegics Cyprus, actual costs for disability care are approximately 3,000 euros, while the state provides a maximum of 1,100 euros.
