Cyprus Attracts Third-Country Citizens for Work and Study
According to the latest Eurostat data for 2025, Cyprus is among European countries with the highest rates of residence permit issuance for third-country citizens. Data from September 11, 2026 shows that the EU as a whole has issued approximately 3.9 million first residence permits.
