Cyprus average wages rise, but inequality remains high
The average monthly salary in Cyprus rose to 2,601 euros in the first quarter of 2026, according to statistics agency Cystat. However, approximately one-third of employees earn less than 1,500 euros monthly. Non-Cypriot employees are disproportionately represented at the extreme ends of the salary scale.
