Cyprus: Bank interest rates lag behind eurozone
The Central Bank of Cyprus reports significant differences in deposit interest rates among Cypriot banks for June 2026. Savers on the island receive considerably lower returns on their savings compared to the eurozone average. For business loans, the interest rate spreads between highest and lowest rates reach up to 3.60 percentage points.
