Cyprus becomes major property owner through KEDIPES transfer
The Cypriot government received properties from the Cooperative Cyprus Bank (KEDIPES) as payment, expanding its portfolio by 247 properties worth 48 million euros. With this first property transfer, the role of the Republic of Cyprus as a significant property owner is strengthened, and an additional 172 properties are currently in the transfer process.
