Cyprus Breaks into Top 10 of European Gaming Industry
Cyprus, with over 400 gaming companies, has risen into Europe's ten largest video game industries by revenue, generating an estimated 3.2 billion euros in 2025. This is documented in the first industry report by the Cyprus Game Makers Association (CYGMA). Notably, approximately 1.4 billion euros comes from PC and console games, yet only around 200 million euros are processed through Steam, the globally known digital distribution platform - indicating an unusual distribution model.
