Cyprus Buffer Zone Becomes a Biodiversity Oasis
The buffer zone, which stretches across the divided island, has developed into a significant biodiversity area over recent decades as human activities are severely restricted. Professor Costas Constantinou told the Cyprus News Agency that the region has become an ecological space in which wild and plant populations have increased.
