Cyprus Calls for Better Cross-Border Healthcare
AKEL Member of the European Parliament Giorgos Georgiu initiates a proposal in the European Parliament to remove barriers to accessing healthcare services in other EU countries. Despite an EU directive on cross-border healthcare that has been in effect for 13 years, patients continue to report administrative and financial problems when receiving treatment abroad.
