Cyprus calls for UN measures for war violence survivors
At a UN Security Council meeting, Cyprus called for stronger international measures to support survivors of sexual violence in conflicts and to prosecute perpetrators. The country highlighted the ongoing impacts of sexual violence during the Turkish invasion of 1974.
