Cyprus: Cash for Rent Banned from Now On – Electronic Payment Only
Starting July 1, 2026, Cyprus will no longer accept cash rent payments. The Finance Ministry requires that all property rental payments be made exclusively electronically, regardless of the rental amount or the type of property use.
