Cyprus Combats Illegal Burning and Dumping of Agricultural Plastics
Cyprus is introducing a new regulatory framework to end uncontrolled burning and dumping of agricultural plastics. Farmers will receive free collection points for their waste. The system provides that manufacturers bear the costs for separate collection and recycling of agricultural plastic waste, with a nationwide infrastructure to be built.
