Cyprus Construction Boom Continues with Record Numbers
Cyprus's construction sector recorded strong growth in May 2026 with 735 building permits issued, representing a 21.1 percent increase compared to the previous year. The total value of these permits was 428.2 million euros and encompassed 352,126 square meters with space for 1,847 residential units. The cumulative value of all permits issued in the current year already exceeds 2.1 billion euros.
