Cyprus' current account shows deficit of 1.3 billion euros
Cyprus' current account recorded a deficit of 1.3 billion euros in the first quarter of 2026, while the services account showed a surplus of 1.2 billion euros. The deficit is larger than in the same period of the previous year, when it amounted to one billion euros. The data comes from Eurostat and is not calendar and seasonally adjusted.
