Cyprus defeats Turkey in backgammon world championship
The Cypriot national team defeated Turkey 4:1 at the World Backgammon Federation championship. The competition took place at the Mercure Hotel in Earl's Court, London. The Cypriot Backgammon Federation celebrated the victory on social media.
