In May 2026, Cyprus maintained stable industrial production while the eurozone and EU experienced a downturn. According to Eurostat, Cyprus' seasonally adjusted industrial production remained unchanged month-over-month, after having grown only slightly by 0.1 percent the previous month. The island thus resists the broader economic downward trend in Europe.
